This was one of the biggest matches of the season for City’s
fans it was the semi-final of the Capital one cup.
City was 2-1 down on aggregate and City needed to win by 1
goal to go through unless Everton scored two City needed to score two or more
to go through.
It didn’t go to plan for City when Ross Barkley scored after
18 minute he was an unbelievable goal he picked it up from his own half and ran
40 yards and shot from 20 yards out and scored it was a fabulous goal.
City attacked none stop until the 24 minute when Fernandinho
had a shot from the edge of the box deflected off Baines and it looped over the
struggling Everton Joel.
After 45 intense minutes it was 1-1
On the 65th minute Kevin De Buryne came off the
bench and it only took him 5 minutes to score from a beautiful dribble and pass
by Raheem Sterling. The ball was clearly out when Raheem Sterling passed it to
De Buryne but the assistants didn’t see it. That made it 3-3 on Agg
On the 77th super Sub Kevin De Buryne whipped in
a beautiful ball into the centre of the box and it was Sergio Aguero was
waiting after losing his marker (John Stones).
In the first minute of Stoppage time Kevin De Buryne went down
injured in the box. Many City supporters were worried because he was unable to
continue and had to be taken off after such a great match.
City went through winner beating Everton 4-3 on Agg
City will meet Liverpool final Capital One Cup
